UPDATED: Wednesday 11th January 2012 UPCOMING EVENTS- Happy New Year everyone, our club has re-commenced with our regular training timetable which has already started on Tuesday the 10th of January.
- The Nittaidai Nippon Sports University visiting NSW on Wednesday the 15th February at the Unigym, Kensington campus, UNSW. Please check back for more info which will be up soon.
- On Saturday 25th February, our club will be going to the first competition for the year which will be held by SKC. The 4th SKC3s Friendship Cup will be held at CSG Sports Centre Cumberland campus USYD in Lidcombe. Master has already selected teams and they will be announced shortly via the notice board at the club.
2012 RESULTS 2011 RESULTS - 2011 NSW Kendo Open Championship was held on the 3rd of December with 11 of our members competing for their respective events. It resulted in Daseul Chun coming first in the womens individuals, Jenny Song receiving a fighting spirit and Stanley Tang receiving the Buttler Sensei fighting spirit award. Congratulations.

- CONGRATULATIONS! to Daseul Chun who made the National Kendo Team to represent Australia in mid 2012. Daseul will be traveling to Italy where they will be hosting the World Kendo Championship. She will be participating in the following events, the Dan Womens Individual and the Dan Womens Teams event at the World Kendo Championship. Once again, Congratulations! We wish you all the best! Do DHMDK Kumdo Club and Australia proud!
- On Saturday, 10th of September, Australian National University Kendo club held their annual ACT Open Championship. The day consisted of kyu individuals and a open team event. Our club sent 6 club representatives and came back with 1st place for both events. Jenny Song took back to back titles for the kyu individuals, while Rodrigo Perez, Jenny Song, Songie Song, Daniel Duna Kim and Dwight Park took 1st place for the open team event.

DHMDK sent a Kyu team, Womens open team and a Dan team. Our Kyu team took in 1st place consisting of Nicholas Kim, Francis Park, Ruben Singh, Stanley Tang and Daniel Duna Kim. There was also a 1st place win in the Kyu kata team event which consisted of Stanley Tang and Daniel Duna Kim.
- On Saturday, 2nd of July, Sydney University held their first USYD Cup tournament. Our club sent 3 teams of 5 and one team recorded 2nd place, Ruben Singh, Richard Kim, Stanley Tang, Daniel Duna Kim and Dwight Park.

Our club sent 6 members (Senah Han, Songie Song, Daseul Chun, Stanley Tang, Daniel Duna Kim & Dwight Park) to join the NSW team to compete for numerous titles against VIC, QLD, ACT, WA & SA. Our club members came back with one of the best results for our club recorded in history with the following:
- Mens Kyu Individual - 1st Stanley Tang, 2nd Daniel Duna Kim
- Womens Kyu Individual - 1st Senah Han, 2nd Songie Song
- Womens Dan Individual - 3rd Daseul Chun

Our club sent 5 teams consisting a total of 31 teams of 3 competed for the this year's title. As this was a mixed event of kyus and dans consisting with women and men, 3 women from our club, Senah Han, Songie Song and team captain Daseul Chun beat 29 teams to place themselves at 2nd place for this event.
