DAE HAN MOO DO KWAN KUMDO

On Tuesday 2nd April 2024, the AKR grading was held in Sydney and Anna Lee and James Abellera achieved 2nd dan. Congratulations!

On Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st March 2024, the 46th Australian Kendo Championship was held in Sydney, New South Wales. Six members from our club represented the NSW contingent and the following results were achieved. Congratulations!

DHMDK Kumdo is wishing everyone a Happy Lunar New Year!

Dae Han Moo Do Kwan wishes everyone a Happy New Year! We hope 2024 is filled with love, happiness, good health, success, money and lots of kumdo/kendo! Our training will recommence on Thursday 4th January 2024.

The 2023 NSW Kendo Championship was held at the Perry Park Recreation Centre, Alexandria on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of October. 21 representatives from the club competed in various kyu and dan individual and team events and achieved the following results. Well done to all regardless of the result and Congratulations!

DHMDK member, James Oh represented Sydney University at the national Unigames which was held on Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th September in Gold Coast and achieved the following results. Well Done!

On Sunday, 11th June 2023, Master Song's students, Daseul Chun and Dwight Park of DHMDK Kumdo were selected to represent Australia along with 13 other members at the upcoming 19th World Kendo Championship (WKC). The 19th WKC will be held in Milano, Italy in July 2024. Congratulations!
