2024 - NSW Kendo Championship

Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th October 2024

The 2024 NSW Kendo Championship was held at Newington College, Stanmore on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of October. 20 representatives from the club competed in various kyu and dan individual and team events and achieved the following results. Well done to all regardless of the result and Congratulations!

Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th September 2024

DHMDK member, James Oh and Arash Ogasawara represented Sydney University at the national Unigames which was held on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th September in Canberra and achieved the following results. Well Done!

2024 - NSW Junior Kendo Championship

Sunday 25th August 2024

On Sunday 25th August 2024, the NSW Junior Kendo Championship was held at Robyn Webster Sports Centre in Tempe. DHMDK had two junior representatives compete at the junior state championship. Both Elly Qian and Kayden Campbell competed for the first time and fought hard. Regardless of their results they did very well.

Thursday 4th July - Sunday 7th July 2024

Between Thursday 4th July and Sunday 7th July 2024, Daseul Chun and Dwight Park of DHMDK Kumdo will represented Australia along with 13 other members at the 19th World Kendo Championship which was held in Milan, Italy. Australia made history with the best ever results achieved. Congratulations!

On Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st March 2024, the 46th Australian Kendo Championship was held in Sydney, New South Wales. Six members from our club represented the NSW contingent and the following results were achieved. Congratulations!
