17TH WORLD KENDO CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Australian Kendo team has had great success at the 17th WORLD KENDO Championship over the three day event which was held in Incheon, South Korea between 14th and 16th September 2018.

2020 - COVID-19 Stay Home

Sunday 29th March 2020

Hi everyone. As you all should know the federal government has restricted any sporting. Therefore Master Song has stated that he will advise everyone when training will return.

Master Song has stated that everyone should run at least 30 minutes 3-5 times a week. At the moment the government allows you to run as long as you do it with social distancing and no more than two people.

If you cannot do any running, we will be posting some short training programs to do at home.

Keep safe, stay home and if you are out keep your social distance and wash your hands. See you all soon.

2020 - DHMDK Training Suspended

Tuesday 17th March 2020

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, DHMDK training has been suspended for a minimum of 2 weeks. We will update everyone in 2 weeks. Stay safe.

2020 - 45th Australian Kedo Championship Cancelled

Monday 16th March 2020

The upcoming 45th Australian Kendo Championship has been cancelled due to the outbreak and concerns over COVID-19. The 45th Australian Kendo Championship will now be held in 2021 hosted by Victoria.

2020 - UTS Shield

Thursday 20th February 2020

On Sunday 16th February 2020, Miko Abellera and Brent Kwon competed at the UTS Shield which was held at the Ross Milbourne Sports Hall, UTS. Miko placed 2nd in the Kyu Division A (1st kyu - 3rd kyu) and Brent placed 2nd in the 4th Dan Division. Congratulations.
